CA Sues 'Bounce House' Makers Over Lead
As you may have heard by now, on August 11, 2010, California Attorney General Jerry Brown is suing several makers of inflatable "bounce houses" for children after tests showed some of the structures contain unsafe levels of lead. The CEH lawsuit names Cutting Edge Creations/I-Bounce, Einflatables.com, The Inflatable Store, Inc/Leisure Activities Co., Ltd., Jump for Fun, Inc., Magic Jump, Inc., Thrillworks, Inc. and Bay Area Jumps. Buy A Bounce is in the process of trying to sort out the details involving the named defendants in the suit and learn if the inflatables that were tested to have dangerous levels of lead were older units and whether these manufacturers current units are compliant with the CPSIA and Cal Prop 65 requirements.
